Former Intern - Anonymous Intern says"Honestly, one of the worst experiences of my life. I have 3 years of work experience and 2 masters degrees. I decided to take up the internship since I was an International Student and decided to get credits rather than work on campus. I was made to get dry cleaning, water plants, clean the dishwasher"
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"Does not innovate. Value prop is lacking. Brand doesn't stand apart from competitors. No marketing efforts to build company brand. Often times, campaigns under-deliver and company has to buy media impressions (which are then taken out of reps commissions)."
Former Employee - Account Manager says"Manager was so incredibly miserable, made everyone's lives at work a living hell. No one leaves until the manager leaves which is usually around 7pm."
Video Producer & Director (Former Employee) says"I am truly disappointed with this company. After hearing so many good things about the work/life balance and office environment I was so excited to start a career with PureWow. That was truly not the case and I will never ever forget how awfully treated I was. My manager accused me of things I never ever did. She was mostly out of office for video shoots, so she heard these things from someone else and had never experienced them first hand. I have no idea who told her this stuff, although I do have my ideas. I also don't know why someone would make up things about me and drag my reputation around. I have been working in the production field for over eight years. I had never experienced anything like what I experienced at PureWow, and hope to never again. I hope they have since fired that manager. She made the environment so unhappy and caused me a lot of pain.Unlimited vacation daysTerrible managers on the video team with no communication abilities"
VP, Midwest Sales (Current Employee) says"Challenging to stay competitive in the marketplace. Poor communication from mgmt. Unwilling to listen to ideas in an effort to bring us to a competitive place in the marketplace.unlimited days offPoor communication"
